I’m Stephen O’Toole, a native Texan, Navy veteran, and operations leader running for Congress in Texas’ 25th District. I’m fighting for liberty, dignity, and opportunity for every Texan... by standing up for working families, protecting our freedoms, expanding healthcare, and delivering real accountability where it’s long overdue.

THE ISSUES

WORKERS’ RIGHTS
I’ve worked in restaurants. I’ve led operations teams of 1,500 people. I know what it means to earn your living, and what it looks like when corporations exploit their workers. I’ll fight for fair wages, safe workplaces, and the right to organize without fear. Unions aren’t the problem... they’re part of the solution.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
No family should have to lose everything just because someone got sick. I’ve lived that reality... watching Alzheimer’s wipe out everything my grandfather worked for. Healthcare should be affordable, accessible, and protected for everyone. That includes expanding coverage, capping drug costs, and standing up to the industry giants profiting off our pain.
BETTER PUBLIC EDUCATION
Education saved me... and it should be saving more kids than it is. We need to fund our public schools like our future depends on it, because it does. That means real investment, real respect for teachers, and no more political games with our kids’ education.
PROTECTING FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS
I swore an oath to defend the Constitution, and I still take that seriously. That means protecting free speech, religious freedom, and the rights of every Texan... regardless of who they are or who they love. Liberty isn’t just for the loudest voices. It belongs to all of us.
COMMUNITY SAFETY
I’m a veteran. I’ve trained with weapons. I believe in the Second Amendment - and in responsibility. Gun safety isn’t about control; it’s about protecting our families. That means background checks, safe storage laws, and keeping guns out of dangerous hands. We can respect rights and save lives at the same time.
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY
The economy isn’t broken... it’s been rigged. I’ll fight to un-rig it. That means backing small businesses, creating real jobs, and closing the loopholes corporations use to dodge taxes while workers get squeezed. Prosperity shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be a possibility for everyone.
